Auxiliary Police Officer Armando Rosario, aged 23, tragically lost his life on March 25, 1992, in New York, NY. Officer Rosario was off-duty and walking near the corner of Lafayette Avenue and Castle Street when he witnessed a suspect robbing an elderly man who had just exited a bank. Demonstrating his commitment to public safety, Officer Rosario pursued the suspect into a churchyard.
