On July 2, 2024, at approximately 1:39 p.m., 37-year-old Jeremy "Jeremiah" Cummings was fatally shot in a drive-by incident near the intersection of West 118th Street and 8th Avenue in Harlem, New York. Cummings, known for his popular YouTube sports channel, JermSportsTV, was conversing with friends when a bullet struck him in the torso. He managed to drag himself behind a vehicle before collapsing.
