On September 16, 2024, at approximately 5:49 a.m., 32-year-old Wilmer Rosario was fatally shot inside a commercial establishment located at 3845 10th Avenue in the Inwood neighborhood of Upper Manhattan. Rosario, a resident of Britton Street in the Bronx, sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his face and chest. Responding officers from the 34th Precinct discovered him at the scene following a 911 call reporting the shooting. Emergency Medical Services transported Rosario to NYC Health + Hospital
