In the late summer of 2016, the life of 19-year-old Manauris Davis was cut short in a sudden act of violence in the Hamilton Heights neighborhood of Manhattan. On the evening of September 5th, Davis was engaged in a conversation on a street corner near his home when a man reportedly ran towards him and fired three shots.
