Manauris Davis, a 19-year-old resident of Harlem, New York, tragically lost his life on September 5, 2016. Davis was fatally shot in the chest on West 140th Street near Broadway, just two blocks away from his home. The incident occurred around 9:50 p.m. when an unidentified assailant approached Davis, shot him, and fled the scene. Emergency personnel quickly transported Davis to St. Luke’s Hospital, but despite their efforts, he could not be saved.
