James Johnson, a 35-year-old resident of New York, NY, tragically lost his life on July 23, 2022. The incident occurred in Central Harlem, where Johnson was fatally shot on West 124th Street. According to reports, the shooting took place shortly after midnight, around 12:30 a.m., during a dice game that escalated into a violent confrontation. Johnson was found with a gunshot wound to his neck and was pronounced dead at the scene. He lived just a block away from where the incident occurred.
