Sukhjit "Sammy" Khajala, a 50-year-old Indian immigrant, was tragically killed on February 8, 2003, in Brooklyn, New York. Khajala was working as a cashier at the Around the Clock Minimart in Mill Basin when he was fatally shot in the face during a robbery.
