Kennedy Joseph Noel, also known by his rap name KJ Balla, was a rising star in the Brooklyn hip-hop scene. Tragically, his life was cut short on May 22, 2020, when he was gunned down in a drive-by shooting on Bradford Street in East New York. The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. when a gunman fired five shots from a passing car, striking Noel in the chest.
