On a Sunday evening in Brooklyn, New York, the life of a promising 21-year-old male rapper was tragically cut short. Nickalus Thompson, a Jamaican-American artist known professionally as Nick Blixky, was shot and killed on May 10, 2020. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. in the Prospect Lefferts Gardens neighborhood, where Thompson was found by police with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and buttocks. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
