On the night of June 18, 2023, a violent altercation in Brooklyn led to the death of 32-year-old Rolando Blanco-Duarte. After spending the evening at a bar with two acquaintances, an argument erupted inside a building on 41st Street near New Utrecht Avenue in Borough Park.
