In the late hours of a Tuesday evening in Phoenix, Arizona, the life of 35-year-old Lavont Blevins was tragically cut short. On September 5, 2023, near the intersection of 15th Avenue and Van Buren Street, gunfire erupted, leaving Blevins with multiple gunshot wounds.
