In the late hours of a Tuesday evening in Phoenix, Arizona, the life of 35-year-old Lavont Blevins was tragically cut short. On September 5, 2023, near the intersection of 15th Avenue and Van Buren Street, gunfire erupted, leaving Blevins with multiple gunshot wounds. Phoenix police officers responded to a call about the shooting around 10:45 p.m. and discovered Blevins gravely injured at the scene.
