On a summer evening in Brooklyn, New York, 18-year-old Antonio Villa was playing basketball with friends at a park in the Cypress Hills neighborhood on July 26, 2020. The lively scene turned tragic when a gunman, standing through the sunroof of a passing SUV, opened fire on the crowd. Villa was struck in the head by the gunfire. He was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and passed away the following day, on July 27, 2020. Antonio Villa was a Hispanic male.
