Jared Plante, a 36-year-old resident of Newburgh, NY, tragically lost his life on January 6, 2014. The circumstances surrounding his death were both violent and distressing. Plante was shot multiple times during a botched robbery attempt. The incident occurred when Jacquelle James, a 21-year-old from Poughkeepsie, attempted to rob Plante of marijuana.
