Amed Alberto Alvarado-Baquedano, a 35-year-old father of two, tragically lost his life on September 21, 2019, in Newburgh, NY. He was attending a family member's birthday party near the intersection of Liberty and Clinton streets when he was struck by a bullet in the neck. The gunfire, which traveled over 100 yards, also injured 18-year-old Almighty Ward, who was shot in the hip and elbow but survived.
