Christian Vaquero, a 20-year-old resident of Newburgh, NY, tragically lost his life on May 10, 2015. The incident occurred the night before Mother's Day, when Vaquero was fatally shot in the back of the neck while sitting in his car at the corner of Hasbrouck and Mill streets.
