Gilbert Kelly, a 65-year-old homeless man, was tragically shot and killed in Brooklyn, New York, on March 15, 2014. Known affectionately as "Kelly" by the residents of Grand Avenue, he was a familiar figure in the neighborhood, often seen on the stoops between Gates and Putnam.
