Wilky Toribio-Perez, a 23-year-old male from Brooklyn, of Hispanic/Latino ethnicity, was gunned down just after 2:25 a.m. on August 10, 2025, on Pine Street near Etna Street in the Cypress Hills section of Brooklyn. Police and ShotSpotter alerts drew investigators to a block strewn with shell casings; Wilky Toribio-Perez was found with a gunshot wound to the left shoulder and rushed to Brookdale University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
