Swadh Maged, a 52-year-old Yemeni immigrant, was working the early morning shift at the 427 Central Avenue Deli and Grocery in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn on April 17, 2014, when his life was tragically cut short. At approximately 6:45 a.m., a man entered the bodega, approached the counter, and without any apparent attempt at robbery or verbal exchange, shot Maged multiple times in the chest and arm.
