Ronald Stern, aged 49, tragically lost his life on April 22, 2014, in Rochester, NY. Stern was found dead in the parking lot of a Family Dollar store on Genesee Street. The incident occurred during a robbery near Hopkins Alley and Genesee Street, where Stern and another victim, Earl Cartwright, were shot. Cartwright survived the attack with a gunshot wound to his leg and was treated at Strong Memorial Hospital.
