Abraham Owten, a 17-year-old from Rochester, NY, tragically lost his life on August 11, 2016. He was found with a gunshot wound to his upper body on Melville Street just before 11 p.m. Despite being rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after. The incident left the community in shock and mourning, as Abraham was a young life taken too soon.
