In the autumn of 2017, a tragedy unfolded in Rochester, New York, that cut short the life of a young child. Two-year-old Zayden King Phillips, a male toddler, was at his home on Walnut Street on Friday, October 20, 2017, when he suffered a catastrophic gunshot wound to the head. Emergency services were called to the scene, and the little boy was rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
