Donnell Nashaun Smith, a 26-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, tragically lost his life on June 22, 2014. Smith was attending a cookout in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn when he was fatally shot in the head. The incident occurred at 281 Powell Street, and despite the presence of numerous attendees, the circumstances surrounding his death remain shrouded in mystery. Smith was pronounced dead at Brookdale University Hospital shortly after the shooting.
