In the summer of 2014, a tragic event unfolded in Huntington Station, New York, that cut short the life of Daniel Carbajal, a 25-year-old man. On the evening of July 23rd, Carbajal was gathered with a group of people outside a home on East 9th Street. The night was shattered at approximately 9:35 p.m. when a man, described as dark-skinned, approached the group and opened fire.
