Known affectionately as 'Willy,' Villalba-Jimenez was a

The Suffolk County Police Department's Homicide Squad launched an investigation into the shooting. Authorities noted the disturbing similarity to another fatal shooting that had occurred just weeks earlier. On August 2, 2022, 23-year-old Bryon Martinez was also shot and killed after answering a knock at his door in the same neighborhood.
