In the late hours of a Saturday in Huntington Station, New York, a knock at the door tragically altered the course of a family's life. Roquez Willy Villalba-Jimenez, a 32-year-old male, was at his East 12th Street home on August 27, 2022, when he responded to the sound. Upon opening his door at approximately 11:35 p.m., he was fatally shot. Emergency services transported him to Huntington Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
