Luis Cameron Rimmer-Hernandez, a 21-year-old resident of Dix Hills, was tragically shot and killed on August 9, 2021, in Huntington Station, New York. The incident occurred on Lowndes Avenue just before 11 p.m. when police responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Rimmer-Hernandez lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to Huntington Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
