In the late evening of August 9, 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a Huntington Station street, leaving a young man's life tragically cut short. Luis Cameron Rimmer-Hernandez, a 21-year-old male from Dix Hills, was pronounced dead at Huntington Hospital after being found lying in Lowndes Avenue with a gunshot wound.
