In the winter of 2014, the life of a young man named Ariel Montanus was tragically cut short in the Soundview section of the Bronx. On the evening of December 3rd, police responded to a call and discovered the 19-year-old male inside a building on Morrison Avenue with a fatal gunshot wound. Despite being rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, his life could not be saved, and he was pronounced dead. The incident left a community in mourning and a family searching for answers.
