Juan A. Ramirez, a 24-year-old resident of Poughkeepsie, NY, tragically lost his life on December 17, 2014. The incident occurred at 15 Gifford Avenue, where Ramirez was standing in the doorway when he was shot. The City of Poughkeepsie police received multiple calls reporting shots fired at approximately 8:48 p.m. that evening.
