Akeem Mahid Stevens Jr., a 14-year-old resident of Poughkeepsie, NY, tragically lost his life on January 10, 2021, after being shot in the head. The incident occurred on January 8, 2021, at a residence on Conklin Street in Poughkeepsie. Akeem was a student in the Poughkeepsie City School District and was known for his love of basketball and music.
