In the early morning hours of May 13, 2023, the life of 19-year-old Thomas Jayden Galimore-Rhodes, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Poughkeepsie, New York. At approximately 2:06 a.m., he was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds near the historic Soldiers Fountain at the intersection of Market and Montgomery Streets. Emergency services rushed him to Vassar Brothers Medical Center, but despite the efforts of the medical team, he succumbed to his injuries during surgery ...
