On May 13, 2023, at approximately 2:06 a.m., 19-year-old Thomas "Jayden" Galimore-Rhodes was found fatally shot near Soldiers Fountain at the intersection of Market and Montgomery Streets in Poughkeepsie, New York. Despite immediate medical attention, he succumbed to his injuries during surgery at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
