Mary Caperton, a 39-year-old woman, was tragically murdered on April 21, 1980. Her death was part of a series of killings committed by Danny Lee Barber, a serial killer who operated in Dallas County, Texas, between 1978 and 1980. Barber was known for his brutal methods, which included beating, stabbing, and sexually assaulting his victims. Mary Caperton was one of four victims whose lives were cut short by Barber's violent actions.
