On May 27, 2024, at approximately 4:05 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting in the 500 block of South Carroll Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered 23-year-old Tacara Nashay Reese-Windom inside a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. A 5-month-old infant was also present in the car.
