On the early evening of Friday, October 3, 2025, in Poughkeepsie, New York, 22-year-old Gabrial Mosca was riding his bicycle at the corner of Main and Garden streets. The routine rhythm of the downtown area was abruptly shattered just after 5:20 p.m. by a burst of gunfire that sent pedestrians scrambling for cover. When police arrived at the scene, they found Mosca suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to MidHudson Regional Hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
