Arion Stith, a 21-year-old man, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident on May 28, 2021, in Poughkeepsie, New York. Stith, who had recently been living in North Carolina, was visiting friends and was hanging out on the back porch of a house on Washington Street when the incident occurred. Around 1:04 a.m., an unknown assailant fired more than ten shots from Marshall Street, striking Stith. Despite being rushed to MidHudson Regional Hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
