David A. Reed, a 23-year-old resident of Poughkeepsie, NY, tragically lost his life on September 9, 2014. Reed was shot while sitting in a car in front of 129 Garden Street, an incident that occurred in the presence of numerous witnesses. The shooting took place as Reed was placing his daughter in the backseat of a friend's car. The assailant, whose face was covered, fired multiple shots, hitting Reed in the chest and stomach.
