In the summer of 2015, the life of 19-year-old Ahziarh Carter was cut short by gunfire in Troy, New York. On the night of August 18th, Carter was near the intersection of Earl Street and Hutton Street when he was fatally shot. Another individual, Kadeion Mays, was also wounded in the incident. The shooting prompted an immediate police response, leading to a high-speed chase of a black Chevy Malibu.
