David Hooks, a 24-year-old resident of the Bronx, New York, tragically lost his life on September 20, 2015. The incident occurred in the Fordham neighborhood, specifically at East 194th Street and Briggs Avenue. Hooks was shot in the stomach during the afternoon, around 3 p.m. When police arrived at the scene, they found him unconscious on the ground. He was immediately rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
