In the early hours of September 29, 2024, Alvin Ortiz, 33, was fatally shot while seated in a parked car outside 2693 Morris Avenue in the Bronx. The incident occurred around 1:07 a.m., when Ortiz and a 36-year-old male companion were approached by assailants who fired multiple shots into their vehicle.
