Melvin Pippins, a 25-year-old resident of Brooklyn, NY, was tragically murdered on October 14, 2015. His death was a result of a violent gang-related incident. Melvin, also known as "Melly," was a member of the 5-9 Brims, a faction of the Bloods street gang. On the day of his death, Melvin was involved in a car-to-car shooting, which ultimately led to his demise.
