Melvin Pippins, a 25-year-old male from Crown Heights, was fatally shot in a car-to-car shooting in the early morning hours of October 14, 2015, in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn. Around 1:45 a.m., near 165 East 19th Street, Pippins was shot in the chest. Surveillance video captured him stumbling out of his car and across the street before collapsing.
