In the evening hours of Friday, April 15, 2022, a burst of gunfire shattered the relative peace of a Brooklyn playground, leaving a young man's life tragically cut short. Twenty-year-old Daquan Trantham, a resident of Bedford-Stuyvesant, was fatally shot at the St. Andrew's Playground on Atlantic Avenue in Crown Heights, just a few blocks from his Herkimer Street home.
