In the early morning hours of November 1, 2015, Fitzgerald McBride, a 46-year-old man from Brooklyn, was found in his car outside Interfaith Hospital. He had sustained gunshot wounds to his arm and torso and was pronounced dead at the hospital. Investigators believe McBride was shot at a different location and had attempted to drive himself to the hospital for help.
Police later determined that the shooting occurred in front of 1330 Atlantic Avenue in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood.
