Death by Force

On the afternoon of November 25, 2015, Jujuan Carson, a 19-year-old African American male, was fatally shot in the back on Washington Avenue in the Bronx, New York. The incident occurred around 2 p.m. near the Morris Houses, a public housing complex where Carson resided. In the aftermath, a makeshift memorial with candles was established at the scene to honor his memory.
