In the early hours of a cold Saturday morning in Syracuse, New York, the life of Marcus Lamar Dunn was tragically cut short. On January 30, 2016, the 29-year-old man was found shot on Mark Avenue, a street that should have been a place of comfort and familiarity. The shooting occurred around 12:50 a.m., and despite being rushed to Upstate Community General Hospital, Dunn succumbed to his injuries.
