On the first day of 2015, in Syracuse, New York, the life of 23-year-old Kendall L. Williams was tragically cut short. In an incident that also left his brother, Stephen Grimes, wounded, Williams was fatally shot in the back. The violence erupted following a dispute that took place outside a convenience store in the city.
