Darryl Samuels, a 21-year-old resident of the Bronx, New York, was tragically shot and killed on March 17, 2016. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. near his home, just a block away from the 43rd Precinct. Samuels was shot multiple times in the chest outside the James Monroe Houses, a public housing complex, in front of the Bx5 bus stop.
