On November 5, 2020, at approximately 9:45 AM, police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting in the Bronx, opposite 1365 Cromwell Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered Angel Barreiro, a 20-year-old Hispanic male, unconscious and unresponsive in the front driver’s seat of a black Acura. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. Emergency medical services transported him to NYC Health + Hospitals / Bronx Care, where he was later pronounced deceased.
