Murdered

On February 13, 2023, at approximately 6:57 p.m., 22-year-old Miguel Vargas was fatally shot inside an apartment building at 689 East 187th Street in the Belmont section of the Bronx. Responding officers found Vargas with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest; he was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
