A man from the New Orleans area, Carlos Gale Peralta, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015. He was 76 years of age at the time of his death.
Originally from Kenner, Louisiana, Mr. Peralta was a family man, having been married to his wife, Yolanda Peralta, for over 54 years. Together they raised two children, a daughter named Adela and a son, Carlos F. Peralta. He was also a grandfather to Selena, Alisha, and Julien Peralta, as well as Amber Washington and Lauren Grob.
His family extended to his great-grandchildren, Joseph Peralta and Leah Reneé Grob. He was one of seventeen siblings and was survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial mass was held in his honor at Leitz-Eagan in Metairie on the afternoon of Saturday, September 19, 2015, with visitation beginning in the morning.
