Roshawn Smith, aged 24, was tragically killed on February 1, 2016, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Smith was robbed and shot multiple times just before midnight at the corner of St. Bernard Avenue and Republic Street. He was transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Smith was a deacon and an active member of his church community, known for his involvement at Abundant Life Tabernacle Full Gospel Church.
