In the spring of 2022, a shooting in New Orleans claimed the life of a 32-year-old man. On the evening of March 25th, officers from the New Orleans Police Department's Second District were dispatched to the 3000 block of Eagle Street following reports of an aggravated battery by shooting. Upon their arrival at approximately 7:37 p.m., they discovered an unresponsive adult male who had sustained a gunshot wound.
