Death by Force

Charles Byrd, a 26-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, was tragically shot and killed on July 30, 2016. The incident occurred outside the Brevoort Houses in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood. Byrd was on his way to pick up his three-year-old daughter when he was fatally shot multiple times in the torso. The shooting took place around 1:20 a.m., and Byrd was subsequently transported to Interfaith Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
