On a cold December afternoon in 2014, a Brooklyn neighborhood was shattered by a sudden act of violence that claimed the life of Calvin Terrance George. The 43-year-old man was sitting alone in his silver minivan on Rogers Avenue in East Flatbush when the tranquility of the day was abruptly broken.
